 RIDING CLASS INFORMATION

  • All students must complete a DCF Waiver and Release of Liability as well as a Riding Class Contract before the first lesson.
  • Class placement is based on instructor knowledge of the student or a short assessment by the instructor in order to keep students grouped by ability.
  • If you miss your class for the week due to issues in your schedule, weather, or pre-arranged class cancellation, you can come to any other class that week in which there is an opening. Make-up classes must be completed within one month of the missed class.
  • The monthly riding class fees are to be paid for by the 1st day of each calendar month. If payment has not been received by the 5th of the month, a $25 surcharge will be added to the class cost. If payment is not received by the 15th of the month, classes will be suspended for that student, and the student’s time-slot will be opened for students on our waiting list.
  • There will be no refunds issued.
  • All classes are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather (heavy rain, lightning, colder than 10 below F in the winter, etc.).  Students will be given at least 1/2 hour notice for cancellations.
  • During the months of the school year, DCF will adjust the class schedule to allow continued attendance (though this schedule is more limited and there will be no allotments for private lessons).
  •  See Riding Class News for more information about classes.
